WeAllJS Launch Party + Monthly Meeting

We're happy to announce WeAllJS San Diego's first monthly meeting and launch mixer, in partnership with LEARN Academy. Light refreshments will be provided.

Our meetings will continue to be on the 2nd Thursday of every month, at 7pm.

WeAllJS is an experiment: We believe that the tech industry as a whole benefits when everyone has a seat at the table. Our community, which primarily exists on Slack (http://wealljs.org), is organized by individuals of various backgrounds experienced in both technical topics and in community building and social issues. It is a project filled with hope and love.

We welcome anyone, on any intersection, who feels JavaScript is a part of their professional or personal life — from student to senior, anyone from Node.js devs to frontend and UX devs to Ruby/Rails developers hooking into JS tools, or sysadmins looking to deploy it. Or even just those who are curious about it.

LIGHTNING TALKS

We feature 5-minute lightning talks from anyone who'd like to share. We have slots dedicated to technology (development, deployment, and so on), inclusion (social issues in tech), and community (grab-bag topics from community members).

No previous speaker experience is required. Priority will be given to speakers from under-represented backgrounds, but we welcome submissions from all intersections and experience levels.
