Hello all!

This question is bothering more and more lately. Being born and raised in Massachusetts, we learned the history of the founding fathers and we were lucky that not only could we read about them in the history books, we walk on the same streets and visit the same buildings were they meet and discussed their and our futures . "The Cradle of Liberty" - Faneuil Hall is enriched in history and the last time I was inside was when my brother became a Boston police officer and while sitting there looking at pictures of John Adams, Washington, Franklin, and the rest, my imagination started running wild. To think this is where our countries greatest minds were planing the future and laying the guide lines for our great country and paving the future for all of us. From the Boston tea party, the stamp act, revolutionary war, Paul Revere, North Church, freedom trail and so many other things that Boston was a part of, is now a faint memory. Now we are known "Taxachuesetts" from the times that people were willing to die before they had taxation without representation to present were our Governor wants to raise taxes on everything from the gas tax and tolls and we keep electing the same old, same old, cause the people can't open their eyes and realize that they are not for us and that their interests are for them selves. When did people except corruption within our government as the norm and that its just the way it is! NO, it shouldn't be and if they are guilty then they should go to jail, they are not above the law.
This is why I want to meet with others and be able to discuss and find new ways to articulate my ideas, so that, I might be better able to get across to my friends and neighbors, the founding fathers values and what they believed and what many people died to protect. The power of one, is the power of many.

Thanks for listening!

"But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever."
John Adams, letter to Abigail Adams, July 17, 1775
