On November 14, 2019 Weaveworks announced its partnership with Intuit to create Argo Flux, a major open source automation project to drive GitOps application delivery for Kubernetes via an industry-wide community. Argo Flux aims to combine the Argo CD project driven by Intuit with the Flux CD project drive by Weaveworks (and in the CNCF as a Sandbox project) two well known open source tools with strong community support. Joining Argo Flux as an active contributor will be AWS who has endorsed and supported GitOps tolling through Argo in EKS, Flagger for AppMesh, and eksctl for EKS. A starting point of the new collaboration is the GitOps Engine.

In this session we'll discuss the Argo Flux project in great detail, expand on the GitOps Engine, future steps for the Argo Flux project, and take your questions.
