>>> Speakers <<<
>> Frank Müller <<
Frank is doing DevOps style work since he joined the IT World 16 years ago. He is mainly doing operations work for multiple companies and larger international projects with colleagues from all over the world. In the past year, he was responsible for the migration of a large customer from on-premise to the cloud and introduced new ways of working throughout all tracks.
Talk description
A question I often hear is about when to use Kubernetes and what Docker can help to archive. In this talk we will walk through the software lifecycle and will have detailed looks into the benefits of each approach.
>> Lars Haßler <<
Lars has been passionate for web development since he was 16 years old. But due to his experience as a consultant and founder he realised, that his passion is more on what to build then on how to build it. Therefore in 2019 he switched into product leadership.
Talk description
In a time where time-to-market get’s one of the most relevant KPI and team striving for continuous delivery it’s important to use the right tool set.
In this talk Lars will explain what feature flags are. Why product teams should use them from both a product management as well as a technical perspective.
But he will especially focus on how to introduce them, what to look out for when implementing them and why it is requires a mindset shift.
