*** Note: If this event fills up you can RSVP at the Boston GTUG Meetup Group (https://www.meetup.com/boston-gtug/events/58962422/) ***

Based on a very successful recent event (https://www.meetup.com/SF-Web-Performance-Group/events/45587992/) (Meet For Speed) held at Google's main campus, this meeting will discuss website optimization, and we'll be prepared to do some hands-on work optimizing web sites.

This is a joint meeting between Boston GTUG (https://www.meetup.com/boston-gtug/events/58962422/) and the Boston Web Performance Meetup group.

We're pleased to have, as leaders of the meeting, Josh Marantz, Pat Meenan, and Bryan McQuade, all Google employees.

Pat Meenan (@patmeenan (https://twitter.com/#%21/patmeenan)) is the driving force behind WebPagetest (http://www.webpagetest.org/). He is a Software Engineer @ Google (http://www.google.com/intl/en/about/corporate/index.html) Bryan McQuade (@bryanmcquade (https://twitter.com/#%21/bryanmcquade)) is an engineer at Google (http://www.google.com/intl/en/about/corporate/index.html) and leads the Page Speed Analysis (http://code.google.com/speed/page-speed/docs/extension.html) tools and SDK (http://code.google.com/speed/page-speed/download.html) efforts. Joshua Marantz (Google+ (https://plus.google.com/101983167127145471687/posts)) is an engineer at Google (http://www.google.com/intl/en/about/corporate/index.html) and leads the Page Speed Automatic (http://code.google.com/speed/pss/docs/overview.html) and mod_pagespeed (http://code.google.com/speed/page-speed/docs/module.html) efforts. The event will be held at HubSpot, one of Boston GTUG's long-standing sponsors, at 6:30PM on Tuesday April 17th. Thanks to HubSpot's generosity, we'll also have refreshments and food, including pizza.
