Zooko Wilcox-O'Hearn is a cryptographer and founder of ZCash, the Electric Coin Company (ECC) and Least Authority. He worked on the first cryptocurrency Digicash with David Chaum and collaborated directly with Satoshi Nakamoto.

Zooko wrote the world’s first blogpost on Bitcoin and is known for his tireless advocacy for privacy preserving technology solutions, “Zooko’s triangle” and Tahoe-LAFS (one of the first decentralized filesystems).
