Condor Gulch - High Peaks Loop hike at Pinnacles National Monument

This is a challenging hike at Pinnacle National Monument. One hiker describes it this way: “The High Peaks of Pinnacles National Monument are a one of a kind collection of sky-pointed spires that provide fascinating scenery and a robust hiking experience. The adventurous hike across the top of the Pinnacles crosses a steep, narrow, and impressively constructed trail that is a highlight of any visit to the park.”
The group will meet by the visitor center at the east entrance at 11am. From here to Bear Gulch Day Use Area is 2.7 miles one way, elevation gain: 300 feet. The High Peaks Loop which starts here is 5.3 mile long, elevation gain: 1,300 feet. So this hike is 10.7 miles with an elevation gain of 1,600 feet. It should take no more than 7 hours. This is a strenuous hike, please come prepared.
Bring your hiking gears, lunch, snacks and plenty of water.
