We can create balance and happiness by simply teaching our minds to become more present and shift our focus. This is what mindfulness teaches, and what scientific research has shown that in as little as eight weeks we can retrain our minds and reduce stress and improve mood. The best part is that this skill, just like driving a can be learned and you can drastically improve the quality of your life.
About the course
At the end of this 4-week course, you will have mastered a set of skills in mindfulness and meditation. You will be not only practising daily but your brain will usually have adapted these practices as a new way of being.
Who is the course for?
The 4-week course is taught by Hayley an experienced Breathworks teacher in a warm and friendly group environment, she teaches you how to live more fully, reduce stress, improve wellness, increase concentration, develop listening skills, increase your happiness and develop more compassion for yourself.
Happiness is a skill. This is what the ancient practice of mindfulness teaches, and what modern psychology research has shown. The wonderful thing is that this skill, just like driving or dancing, can be learned, and it can stay with you for a lifetime.
What will I learn?
Each week We will practice a new mindfulness technique and you will get accompanying mp3's sent out to continue to practise this daily for a week. When we meet the following week we can share our experiences and learn a new technique for the next week.
We will also practice some mindfulness in daily life tools for our homework such as spending less time on our devices or a short mindfulness walk.
