Details

The tournament will consist of 4 games played in Round Robin. Followed by a final game.

Each game will be random card draw. Each game will be random noble draw.

When one player gets 15 points or more, the turn gets played out. If the starting player gets to 15pts or more first, the other players get one more turn. If the 3rd player gets to 15pts or more, only the 4th player gets one more turn.

A running total will be kept throughout.
Position scoring will be:
• 1st place = 4pts
• 2nd place = 3pts
• 3rd place = 2pts
• 4th place = 1pt

Ties will be broken by the fewest number of development cards purchased. Winner having fewer cards.

The top four players will compete in the final game. Scores will be reset for the final game.

Standard Rules apply:
7 tokens of each gem (Emerald, Diamond, Sapphire, Onyx, Ruby). 5 Tokens of Gold (wild).

5 Nobles per game. not refreshed when purchased. Won by acquiring shown number of development cards.

Can never have more than 10 tokens. You may draw over 10 but must discard down before your turn ends. You can return any number of tokens. All tokens must be visible to other players.

On your turn you must do one of the following:
• Take 3 gems of different colours. You can choose to take 1 or 2 different gems.
• Take 2 gems of the same colour. Must be leaving at least 2 of the same gem behind in the stock pile
• Reserve 1 development card. Also take one of the gold tokens. If no gold tokens are available you can still reserve cards.
• Pay for a development card, either in the shared tableau or a reserved card.

Purchased development cards adds a bonus to card purchases. These will provide discounts to future purchases. It is possible to to get "free" cards by having enough development cards.

All points must be visible to all at all times. Points are visible on top left of noble or cards.

Only one noble may be claimed each turn. You may not refuse a noble. Claiming Nobles do not count as an action.
