Janelle's Story....
Janelle is a Licensed Mental Heal Counselor who has devoted the last 20 years of her life serving adults, children, couples, groups and families in both Niagara and Erie County. Janelle also holds a Master of Science degree in education. Janelle studied at University of Buffalo, Niagara University and Medaille College. She has knowledge in all areas of counseling including; anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, marital/family discord, relationships, grief and loss, spiritual growth, career, chronic pain, stress management, anger management, personality and mood disorders. Janelle uses a unique approach to therapy that encompasses past, present and future while teaching mindfulness along the way. This approach is both holistic and psychodynamic which allows the individual to gain insight on the deepest level. Additional approaches include but are not limited to; cognitive behavioral, person centered, family systems model, time line work, trauma focused, art therapy, play therapy, visualization, guided imagery, dream work, emotionally focused, group and narrative.
