Sand spring trail - some on the AT and other trails and 1 GREAT view.
Also touch the eagle nest shelter.
Only 1500 feet of gain. Will be 15 min break for quick snack if desired .another good hike to stretch it if youve done 8-10 miles.

Quick pace about 2.8 mph .
Rain cancels . No pets please .

Meet at hopewell lake boat launch.

Quick paced 6.25 miles on the green Lenape trail .

This hike will finish in the dark so bring your HEAD LAMP ! No light no hike . There are some rocky areas and 1 good hill climb .

Possible social after .

Meet at the AT parking lot in Port Clinton 40.57840, -76.02394.
Hike east on the At under 61 and up to the top - turn around and go back to port Clinton following the AT up and take a side trail down around and the n along the rail trail and then up the LEG DESTROYER - not as crazy as it sounds but not easy either - do you have what it takes ? 😬.

2800 feet of gain . 12.2 miles .

Social at port Clinton hotel after.

The peanut shop next door has all the roasted peanuts ands nostalgic candies you can dream of.

If we’ll just if - maybe we do the crazy 700 ft straight down then back up in between ….

Will be a quick pace - except maybe the climb up the destroyer .
