What we’re about
This group is for anyone who has experience and is interested in hiking, backpacking, kayaking and possibly rock climbing. Mostly we will be hiking. I started this group so that I can continue my passion for getting out there and exploring the great outdoors.

Cross-posted with Outdoor Adventure Friends
Fast-paced! Experienced hikers only!Join us for an explore to find the elusive Tobe Run Lair, an underground waterfall near the Holtwood Nature Preserve. Finding the lair will involve a very short bit of bushwacking down a ravine. After scouting the lair, we will hike Kelly's Run and the Conestoga Trail as far as Tucquan Glen, and then head back to our vehicles.
Beautiful scenery, overlooks, refreshing streams & glens make this rugged, very strenuous hike well worth the effort. On the Kelly's Run/Conestoga Trail, expect a challenge with plentiful rock scrambles/rock hops, stream crossings, & steep ups and downs. Be prepared for "The Bitch", a notoriously strenuous climb, on our way back!
Dogs welcome! Please note in comments in you are planning on bringing your pup so those allergic or uncomfortable around dogs can plan accordingly.
*While this is anticipated to be a fast-paced hike, please expect frequent stops to allow the group to regather and enjoy the scenery. Please be mindful of group unity and adjust your pace accordingly.
