Lewis, President / Organizer of this club, we reached our goals in 2018 to organize more adventurous rides. I have participated in many adventurous watercraft rides in Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, Along the Pacific Coast and The Tennessee River 600 in 2016. Recently I have developed new synergies and relationships with other jet ski clubs throughout the USA. If you have any ideas or want to be an organizer for a ride please PM me I would be happy to post it.
What is this Meet Up group's main purpose?
Our Personal Watercraft Riders are located in Southern California spanning to Northern California. I founded this Club in 2012 along with a group of experienced PWC enthusiasts who enjoy riding and exploring waterways throughout the West Coast and Southern California. We are the number #1 and only organized Watercraft Riding Club in Southern and Northern California and continuing on our 7th consecutive year as the hottest and respected club in SoCal with over 40 planned rides a year!!! Since we are a Watercraft Riding Club we have no restrictions on what types of watercraft's are used at our events. Please beware that certain PWCs are restricted in some places.
How does West Coast impact the Watercraft Community?
We are a Personal Watercraft Club and Jet Ski Group whose Members partake in organized and non-organized jet ski rides and events throughout the year and ride up to 52 weeks yearly. In addition to offshore Ocean riding to Long Beach, Channel Islands, Zuma Beach, Malibu Pier, Marina Del Rey, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Dana Point, Newport, Oceanside, San Diego, Mission Bay and Catalina, many Members have participated in trips to Lake Mead, Laughlin, The Colorado River both Upper and Lower, Lake Mohave, Lake Havasu, Hoover Dam, Lake Powell and to Yuma Arizona. Other excursions include Pyramid Lake, Lake Nacimiento and even trips to The California Delta in Northern California which encompass over 1600 miles of untouched waterways. Our latest endeavor will be The Columbia River in Oregon, August of 2018. We have found that as soon as one of these trips comes to an end, members are discussing the next watercraft adventure, this is true ask any member.
Why would you join Southern California's Premier Watercraft Club?
We have had great turn outs at every event, it's a great way to meet new friends and build long lasting relationships. Our Membership continues to grow as well as the friendships that are made. Our leadership speaks for itself. West Coast organizes fun and interesting events while promoting safety, especially on the water. We maintain a relaxed and fun atmosphere in the club with an opportunity for everyone to participate and enjoying their time on the water with no drama.
This is why I started this meet up group and the club site. Come join the fun of the most active Jet Ski club serving the entire West Coast.
Attendance to our trips?
We have had unbelievable attendance on our rides and away trips. Our ride calendar for 2018 had at least 40 Rides and Trips planned thus far which is a reflection of the Club's Leadership and strong Member participation. I want to thank all the members for their participation and loyalty making us who we are today.
Are there any fees to join this Meet Up?
We will be starting dues in January, 2019. We do encourage our members of the meetup and club site to participate it at least 3 events a year. Members can contribute to the Meet Up by clicking the "chip in" link.
Do you want to be a Racer?
We have a Race Team "West Coast Watercraft Racing Division" please inquire if you are interested. At the 2016 Mark Hahn 300 our members came in the top 10 and The Dana Point to Oceanside race our long time member Tony followed Mike Klippenstein in 2nd place.
