Fall Fashion Shoot - Grand Haven - 10th Annual

Needs a location

Join us for our 10th annual Grand Haven Fall fashion shoot with cider and donuts, along the waterfront and downtown Grand Haven. Our models (5 so far) will be available for photographing in their fall attire, from casual to formal wear. We will spend the first 20 minutes or so going over all the latest tips and tricks for shooting everything from portraits to group shots using available light, reflectors and fill-flash. We will be demonstrating the latest in portable flash gear. Come and see the newest gear and techniques. Our "subtractive lighting" technique will be emphasized to get the best pictures by balancing the background light with the subject. This technique is used by professional fashion and portrait photographers all over the world. Following the instruction, we will spend the balance of our time on the waterfront and downtown, photographing our models and fall colors in beautiful downtown Grand Haven. Afterwards we will meet at a local restaurant to discuss and show what we have learned and photographed (optional). This event is always well attended and will be limited this year to only 20 photographers so there will be more time for one-on-one photography of the models and questions and answers. Beginners to pros may attend, as there is something for everyone. MEETING PLACE: Concert Tent at Waterfront Stadium, Harbor and Washington, downtown. Cost: $10.00, payable at the door. Free cider and donuts, what a deal! Please RSVP on this Meetup site asap. Your instructor is Jack Adams, West Michigan portrait/Photoshop instructor for over 25 years. Please call[masked] or email: [masked] for questions or more information. RAFFLE: Two lucky photographers will win the following: One 11x14 Metal Print from Gloss Metal Prints. The other winner will win free admission to any Adams Photography or Photoshop workshop within one year of this events' date. See you there! UPDATE: Xpozer photo prints just got in on the action and wants to give away 20% off coupons to all attendees.
