West Sacramento Real Estate Investor Meetup

Join us this month for a discussion about how California's landlord-tenant laws have changed dramatically — and most rental investors don't realize how exposed they are. This practical, no-fluff session covers the rules that actually trip landlords up and cost them money: AB 1482 rent caps, just-cause eviction requirements, new security deposit limits, and disclosure obligations that apply whether you own 1 unit or 100. Rachid will walk through real scenarios, common mistakes, and simple steps to stay compliant and protected. As always, we’ll wrap up with Q&A, giving everyone an opportunity to ask questions, connect, and network with other local investors.

Rachid Abadli is a Sacramento-based landlord and the founder of LeaseBase, a property management platform built for independent rental owners. He manages rental properties locally and holds an MBA in Finance from Sacramento State, a BS in Computer Science from UC Davis, and a certificate in Organizational Leadership from Harvard Business School. With over 12 years in software engineering — including roles at Keeper Security, Blue Yonder, and Kratos Defense — Rachid combines hands-on landlord experience with deep technical expertise. He built LeaseBase.ai to help small landlords stay compliant and run their rentals with confidence.
