Hello Wellbeing Seekers,
I will be running a weekly meditation group starting from this Tuesday 25th June at 7.15pm until 8.30pm.
We wont start the actual meditation until around 7.45pm so for those of you who may not be able to make it at 7.15pm, please do feel free to join any time up until 7.40pm.
We will begin with some breathing techniques to calm the mind and bring the mind, body and breath into harmony.
The first meditation will be a sitting meditation. The second meditation will be longer and will be laying down.
I will increase the length of the meditations each week as your brain and body get used to letting go, relaxing and connecting to yourself and your breath.
Please bring any thing additional you would like to bring to make your meditation more comfortable such as blankets and pillows.
If you do have any yoga matts do bring them as we only have a few.
Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to sit as well as lat down.
This is a class for all. You do not have to do anything but bring yourself along and relax.
If you have never meditated that is fine as we will be talking through what meditation is and how it effects the body. We will be starting with shorter meditations increasing as the weeks go on - allowing your body time to adjust and get used to meditation.
We will also have time to sit and chat about anything that feels right to talk about. There may be a common theme each week - such as Healthy Boundaries, Stress Management, Relationships, Well being practices and so on.
