America's Boating Club of Westchester (ABCW), formally known as Westchester Sail and Power Squadron ("WSPS") is part of America's Boating Club (ABC), formerly known as "United States Power Squadron ("USPS") which is the world's largest private, non-profit boating organization. Westchester was awarded its Charter in February, 1937. The majority of our members are drawn from Central and Southern Westchester County. The boating activities of our members take place primarily in the Long Island Sound and the Hudson River.
America's Boating Club of Westchester (like all of clubs that comprise ABC) is made up of people who are interested in taking classes and seminars to learn about safe boating and who enjoy power boating and/or sailing.
If you are interested in learning about safe boating, we are the right group for you. We have multiple classes and we also have group activities throughout the year.
