What we're about

Calling all active, sociable dog owners! This is a community project to bring together like-minded dogs and their owners for country rambles, play, socialisation and stimulation in the woods and fields of Westerham and the surrounding areas. If the weather is good we can turn it into a picnic! I own Social Pet Society, a group and bespoke dog walking, dog boarding and pet sitting company in Biggin Hill. This meetup is a chance for those who can't afford or don't need regular professional help, but do want their dog to have a sociable time and meet some lovely new playmates!

Active dogs walk & social

Hosey Common Car Park

What we're about This is an organised walk and coffee for like-minded dog owners, of like-minded active and sociable dogs, who would love to see their dogs spend an enjoyable time racing around with some new friends, whilst getting to know some new humans! We will always aim to stop somewhere for a coffee if possible, or a picnic if the weather is good. Our aim is to provide a social network for people to get together whilst also providing a fun and relatively low-cost way to socialise your pooch. This walk will start at Hosey Common Car Park, and we will be walking up to Chartwell where we will sit and have a drink at the cafe (cost not included) before heading back in a loop. The walk will take around an hour depending on walker's speed plus however long we spend at the cafe. Whilst we do our best to ensure that our walks are safe and enjoyable for every walker and dog participating, in the unlikely event of an accident please understand that you are responsible for your own well being and that of your dog, and that we (the organisers and other members) cannot accept any responsibility for loss, injury or any other unwanted incident that may occur at our planned events. Participation and suggestions are very welcome, if you have a good idea for a new walking route please do get in touch! To make these Meetups possible it is necessary to ask each member of the group to contribute a nominal fee of £3 per person per walk. Note: It is essential that your dog has never shown any aggression towards another human or dog for them to be included. If this is not the case I'm afraid this walking group is not suitable, but if you contact me (Emily the organiser) I can assist with bespoke dog walks if needed. Hope to see you all at the first group walk! Emily x
