Please see the email below. Mike and his family have been friends of ours for a long time (college days). Both of their sons have served our country and one is currently serving
in Kuwait as his email states. If you know of anyone or anyway of helping get ballots to these most deserving members of our service, it would be greatly appreciated. Mike’s information is listed below.
Thanks and I hope we can somehow right a wrong.

Subject: Ohio Soldiers Need Your Help - Urgently
I know most of you, however some receiving this don't know me, however you do know one or both of my sons Andrew and/or Phillip. I'm sending you this email looking for some help and guidance.
1LT Phillip Hascher is currently deployed in Kuwait. He is responsible for 53 soldiers, most from Indiana and some from Ohio. He has been trying to secure individual ballots for the upcoming elections (National, State and Local) for months
and I have been trying to help him in anyway possible as it is extremely difficult to address any "back home" issues while deployed.
We have been through many channels, departments and offices at the Federal, State and Local levels and we've had too many phone calls that started and ended quickly with "we aren't responsible for that", and we've had a few very positive
(a few!) folks that have tried to help. The current status is that the Indiana soldiers in Phillip's company have all received their ballots and have been able to vote, however
none of the Ohio soldiers have received their ballots and time is just about out for them to vote.
I'm asking each of you to please make a phone call or send an email to any politicians or attorneys who might be willing to step forth from a legal perspective and bring the appropriate pressure to bear at the State and Local level for
these Ohio soldiers who have not received ballots to vote. Please have them
call me directly at[masked] or email me at
[address removed] and I'd be happy to share what has been done since the summertime, who has helped, who has not helped and how I might be able to facilitate putting ballots in the hands of these Ohio soldiers in-time for them to have their vote count.
My son and his fellow soldiers are completing their mission. They have a strong love of Country and for serving and giving back to our great nation. I feel we owe it to them to insure they have the same opportunity to vote and to make
their votes count. Simply, no one on the home front has been able to complete the mission of putting ballots in their hands.
Please have any attorney friends you know give me a call as I believe the "legal system" is the last resort opportunity to accomplish this goal. Thank you for reading and considering this matter further and for any help you can provide.
