Want to speak at November's Weston Tech gathering? Just let us know we'll pencil you in. We are also looking for a local sponsor for our Weston Tech nights so if you work in tech and have some loose change and want to become this group's official sponsor (to cover a welcome drink and some salty snacks for each meet), email us!

(Apologies - one of the two planned speakers for the Aeroponics evening previously scheduled for this date had to bow out and so we're looking to reschedule.)

General info about the Weston Tech Meetup:

• What we'll do (generally the last Thurs of every month):
Call it social, call it networking, call it looking for business or putting opportunities out there - this group will be what Weston's tech community needs it to be. There'll be intros from those who want to give them plus a tour of this new facility - Weston's first coworking space and creative hub. As our cohort of techies grows, we can put on the kind of events you want to see or invite the speakers you want to hear. For now just come, support this new tech group and we'll go from there. Why drive to events elsewhere when there's now one right beneath your nose...

Things to bring/ share/ hear about are for example:

New developments/ innovations of general interest
Tech Funding calls
Accelerator or incubation opps
Award nominations/ events
News of other regional tech events, opps and awards
Job opportunities
Other socials/ tech groups/ parties

Etc

Yourselves, business cards, no other requirements.

• Important to know
Getting here: plenty of bike parking just outside. Driving? To get here for 7pm, leave early. If the on-street (free from 6pm) parking is gone outside you might be parked further away that you think as if there's a play on at The Blakehay Theatre next door, Grove Park car park can be busy.
