Let's go bowling on Saturday, March 9th at 7:00 pm at Bowlero in Mar Vista. Meet at the counter so we can pay and get a lane (or two) together. Bowling is $11 per person per game. Last time we went bowling, we played 2 games. Let's plan to play 2 games this time as well, so count on $22 per person for both games. If you need bowling shoes, they are $6.24 per person. Feel free to order food and drinks. Each couple is able to pay the server for their own bill - OR - enter and pay for your own order in the computer system. Bowlero in Mar Vista is located at 12125 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90066. They have a parking lot, which is free. In addition to bowling, there is an arcade, billiards, sports bar, and a lounge area. Please let me know what questions you have! I hope several couples join us for bowling night.
Let's all go see The Marriage Zone at the Santa Monica Playhouse on Saturday, March 30th. The performance starts at 8 pm. Tickets are $21.96 if purchased through Goldstar or Brown Paper Tickets with the coupon code "discount." If you buy them on various websites without the code, then the are $40 so use the code! Or, the representative said you could buy them at the door for $20 if they still have tickets available. I am going to buy mine through GoldStar or Brown Paper Tickets using the code so I know we have our tickets. You can choose, and each couple should buy their own tickets. Again, it is open seating so we will meet beforehand in order to sit together. We are thinking about meeting a little earlier since the show has open seating, which is on a first come first serve basis. Also, we are considering possibly meeting for dinner or coffee before, but we haven't yet decided and will want your input. Another idea is to grab dessert or a drink somewhere after the show. "The Marriage Zone" is back again, still on the West side! Winner of "Best writer of an original play" at the 2018 Valley Theater Awards. From Jeff Gould, author of "It's Just Sex" and executive producers Bruce P. McNall and Steven C. Markoff, Beth and Cal's 20-year marriage is at the crossroads. One day, while selling their house, a younger and an older couple unexpectedly show up at the door. It seems innocent at first, but after a little while, it becomes apparent that they have way too much in common. They have crossed over into "The Marriage Zone". Discoveries are made, secrets are revealed, and the result is a hilarious and poignant look at the life of a marriage. The Santa Monica Playhouse is located at[masked]th Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401. There are several options for parking around the playhouse. You can find details about directions and parking at https://www.santamonicaplayhouse.com/map--directions.html Please let me know what questions you have. We hope several couples will join us to see The Marriage Zone!
