About Westside Professional Women

Westside Professional Women invites professional and business women from Hendricks, Boone, Marion, Morgan, and Putnam Counties to come and join us for networking and to support each other in our efforts to become women who can make a difference.

We are a group of business owners and professional women who meet once a month to:

• Network

• Learn about topics important to our businesses and about our communities

• Support each other and our communities

• Raise funds for our annual scholarship program. Scholarships are given to Hendricks county high school girls and women looking to further their education and/or need education to return to the work force.

Annual Dues / Other Fees

Annual dues are $40.00. Plus you buy your dinner at the meetings, if you wish to have a meal. You may attend 2 meetings before you have to pay dues to see if you wish to become a member.

Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at:

Women interesting in joining may click “Join” and be granted temporary access to our Meetup page, so they can RSVP for a meeting and learn more about us by reading our message boards and other information.

2019 Application Deadline - WPW Scholarship Program

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM DEADLINE: All applications must be received by May 10, 2019. SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT: Five $1,000 scholarships awarded ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: All applicants must be legal residents of Hendricks County and either: a) A graduating female high school senior OR b) An adult female returning to school. You must be attending a college, vocational or trade school in the summer or fall of 2019. A returning student is defined as an adult female who has been out of school (high school, college or vocational/trade school for more than 2 years. During the time frame away from school, the adult female cannot have been a part-time or full-time student at any higher education, vocational or trade school institution. A previous scholarship recipient cannot apply for the scholarship again. VERY IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS • The Application must be filled out COMPLETELY. • You must submit a SEALED, HARD COPY of your transcripts with the application. • You must submit TWO letters of recommendation (HARD COPIES) that follow the guidelines described within the application. • Applications must be received by May 10, 2019. • Applications received after the May 10, 2019 deadline WILL NOT be considered. TRANSCRIPT INSTRUCTIONS: For female high school seniors, submit a sealed copy of the student’s transcript from the high school the student is graduating from. For adult female students, submit a sealed copy of the student’s transcript from the high school the student graduated from - plus a sealed transcript from any college or vocational/trade school the adult female student has previously attended, if applicable. SCHOLARSHIP AWARD CEREMONY: The winner of the scholarship will be requested to appear at the Scholarship Award program on June 11, 2019, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the club’s meeting site.
