I think this is really interesting news.

CERN is the organization that has the advanced particle smasher and has perceived the Higgs boson.  So now, they've opened-up an internal discussion/debate as to the Big bang and what role, if any, religion has in understanding origins for the universe.

Unfortunately, the debate isn't open to the public.
