What we're about

Come and join our friendly group, in a cozy book store, to explore the possibility of integrating the both Stoic and Buddhist philosophical traditions into one singular teaching and practice so that participants can receive the benefits from both traditions. Our group offers a lively non-academic book discussion format with the guidance of a Stoic practitioner who is also an experienced Buddhist teacher. Our approach is to learn about the art of living and to strive toward the unfolding of our human potential for inner happiness, flourishing, and enlightenment. The Stoa Buddhist Philosophy Group is open to the public; no Stoic or Buddhist knowledge is necessary.
