El Dia de Los Munchies - Mexican in Green Hills - PRIVATE ROOM

Ever since La Paz closed, Nashville has been missing an upscale option for Mexican food, or at least a wannabee upscale.

Alegria recently opened and is trying to fill that gap. As an added bonus, margaritas are $3.50 for happy hour.

I've eaten here a few times now, and my impressions so far: margaritas GOOD.

if the queso is too mild, ask them to add jalapeños. The salsa is very fresh. The cilantro-lime rice is very tasty, as is the honey-coleslaw.
