Baby goat petting, picnic lunch in Windsor
WE love having an opportunity to visit the source of our supplies - a farm with goats and baby goats. Our member, Laurie Smith has invited us to visit on June 3, for a few hours of frolicking in the meadow and barns. We will be visiting a private residence and can park on the street. If possible, please carpool. Let's bring some goat cheese, bread, fruit, olives, dessert, salad and party. The club will provide the essential table service; cups, paperware and utensils. Please message what you will bring and we can fill out our table with plenty of yummy Sonoma County products. If you have questions, please, reply to me. Cheers, Nancy

    What we're about

    Public Group

Our group is a growing group of cheese hobbyists located primarily in Sonoma County. The cheesemaking hobby has been gaining momentum and confidence in the past couple of years and this club plans to build on that momentum to advance the hobby...and of course to have fun with it! The meetings take place within Sonoma County. What type of meetings? Of course we will learn that as we go, but creamery tours, how-to demonstrations, style talks, cheese and recipe sharing, pairings, and more yet to be conceived ideas can be expected. Please join in. All ages and demographics are desired.

Dues are $20 a year to cover the administration costs of belonging to Meetup, banking fees, supplies for meetings, and defraying costs for speakers where the fees do not cover all of the costs.

If you are looking for a great group to join, love to eat cheese and want to learn how to make cheese, this is your group. Join us and see.
