Tour and Tasting at William Cofield - Sebastopol
• What we'll do We will gather a little before 10:00 in the parking area and plan to enter the tour at 10:00. The William Cofield cheese company makes "Proper British Cheese". They make their own Cheese Curds, Cheddar and a Stilton-Esque Cheese. We will be able to view the cheesemaking areas and hear about their history and plans for the future. The retail store opens at 11:00, where we can purchase cheese and retire to the picnic area to enjoy a lunch. Bring anything you wish to not purchase, and the club will bring some supplies like napkins and such. I and others wishing to ride share, can meet at The Beverage People parking lot at 9:30. What we're about

Public Group

Our group is a growing group of cheese hobbyists located primarily in Sonoma County. The cheesemaking hobby has been gaining momentum and confidence in the past couple of years and this club plans to build on that momentum to advance the hobby...and of course to have fun with it! The meetings take place within Sonoma County. What type of meetings? Of course we will learn that as we go, but creamery tours, how-to demonstrations, style talks, cheese and recipe sharing, pairings, and more yet to be conceived ideas can be expected. Please join in. All ages and demographics are desired.

Dues are $20 a year to cover the administration costs of belonging to Meetup, banking fees, supplies for meetings, and defraying costs for speakers where the fees do not cover all of the costs.

If you are looking for a great group to join, love to eat cheese and want to learn how to make cheese, this is your group. Join us and see.
