What we're about
Please join us the first Monday of every month, 7PM at White Street Brewing Company. Each time we meet we have a presentation and discussion on various homebrew/brewing/beer related topics such as equipment, techniques, recipe formulation, hops and other ingredients, fermentation, etc. On average we usually get a turnout of 25-30 people at our meetings but we have had as many as 50 show up. Guild members are encouraged to bring their homebrew to share with others for feedback and discussion. All in all it is a great time and a great opportunity to meet like-minded homebrewers.
Throughout the year we organize homebrew competitions and events that guild members are encouraged to participate in. While anybody can come to our meetings, we encourage you to become a full member. If you do not want to be a full member you can be an associate member. The associate member of WSBG have $0 dues. Our full member status is $20 for the first year and $15 each year after that. The membership gains you access to all club competitions as well as a really awesome T-shirt. I will announce club events on this meetup page but you can be added to the email list by dropping a line to our club secretary at email@example.com .
Our club charter is as follows:
We are the White Street Brewer's Guild. A group of folks passionate about craft beer, homebrewing, and the community that surrounds them. We want to promote the art, hobby, and science of homebrewing through sharing knowledge, techniques, and experience. We are graciously hosted every month by the White Street Brewing Company (WSBC) in Wake Forest, NC. Club meetings are the 1st Monday of every month at 7pm at WSBC. Once in a while, we move it to the 2nd week because of holidays. We are open to anyone interested in learning about this craft as long as you are of legal drinking age. On this Meetup.com group you can leave your thoughts, post your pictures, or find out what the Guild is doing next. Cheers and hoppy brewing!
