So sad, but I won't be at this next meeting either. I'll be in Colorado leading a retreat and ordaining a new class of Interfaith Peace Ministers. I miss our gatherings!

See you next time, Bonnie. Terrific to see your work flourish.

Thanks, Michelle. The retreat was well attended (even one AWIP member flew to Colorado for it!) and was just fabulous. The work is indeed flourishing. Yay! :D

If you intend to join us for the Afternoon Tea with the Akashic Records, please email me your RSVP. This will make sure I have room for you, but more importantly our road has been closed due to a bridge replacement, so you'll need my directions in order to find my home. Your GPS will not be reliable this time. Please note that until July 21 I'm charging only $10 to help cover the cost of the yummies for the tea. If you pay at the door, the fee is $20, but you'll still need to RSVP to me for those essential directions. [masked]

I was amazed at how many people are teaching, holding workshops, and events in our group! Aren't we amazing and productive. Asheville is blessed to have us all here. Thanks for another wonderful meetup.

Sorry you did not get to see my books. I will try to compile a list and send it to you. Is it only acupuncture books you are interested in ?

I am sorry I didn't get there too! I would like to see a list of the books for sure. Thanks Gloria.

Great group and great meeting. Learned so much and met so many people! My guest Ginny (FreeSpirit) from Durhan said, "Ditto!" to my comments.

We had a great group (as usual). 9 new faces and 49 total attending. Remember you can look up members by first names to forge partnerships -- Abbas is looking for a Doula or Midwife to partner with and has free meditation classes weekly; Lauren Grant is giving away free Akashic records sessions via phone; see two pics posted sharing many events written on the AAWIP White Board; Emily is looking for contributors for her upcoming book (mom's experiencing grief); MagicBrad does a Marking Monday meetup, and so much more. If interested in trends (those with other meetups may find interesting), of the 70 original RSVP's: 5 had urgent matters to attend to or were sick; 8 cancelled over the weekend, or Monday morning or during the meeting; 15 were "no shows" (3 members will sit out for the next 3 months); 4 (of 9) of "+1" guests were no shows. It was great to see folks come that saw the we had space available due to cancellations (7 professionals). No butt room to 20+ butt space available.

What a fantastic experience! As a first time attendee I felt very welcomed and got to meet many professionals with so much to offer! I look forward to getting to know members better so that I can help my clients find the type of solutions they need to lead a healthier and more fulfilling life! Thank-you everyone for sharing your talents!

So sorry for the last minute change. I was really looking forward to today's group, but I am not feeling well and taking a day of rest. I hope someone will fill my last minute spot.

Hi! There is a chance I won't make it tomorrow. Won't know until 9:30. My AC has been out for over 2 months & HVAC guy just called to say the compressor might be here in the morning. If so, they'll be here in morning to fix it - FINALLY! So wanted to give heads up so it won't be a last minute cancel. If I miss tomorrow - will see you next month!

I hate to cancel but I just found out I'm being called in to work 3rd shift at the hospital this weekend, so I will just be going to sleep at the time of the meeting. Think happy thoughts for me, since my body does not do well staying up all night!

If you are coming to the AAWIP meeting on 7/14/14, you may like to come over to my place afterwards (5 minutes from Crystal Visions at 511 Brookside Camp Road) for my open house sale (from 1:15 pm to 4 pm). I am not selling junks or stuff that I don't want. I am selling quite a few of my prized collections that I treasure and still love, but which no longer serve my new path. Those who know me know I have a lot of unique and interesting stuff. You will find a lot of crystals, crystal jewelry, tuning forks, hand massager, massage cushions, meditation cushions, many oracle cards decks, drums, flute, horse riding exercise machine, many healing tools, art, CDs, books, clothes and accessories ...........
This is a Special for AAWIP members but your guests are welcomed too !
Mark this in your calendar if you are interested and I will remind everybody again at the meeting.
If you cannot make next Monday, send me a email and we can arrange another time for you to come and browse.

This note is long overdue but I suppose better late than never... My husband volunteers for Wild For Life, a raptor rehabilitation center. The center received a donation from this past AWIF. They (Mary Beth and Susie - the owners) may have already sent a thank you note; but my husband, Jim wanted to express his thanks as well. At this time there are 12 permanent residents - the birds can not be released into the wild because of their injuries; and there are 6 receiving rehab and will most likely be released in the near future. The money they received is greatly appreciated.
