This is a group for anyone interested in animal rights and advocacy. This may include book discussion, film viewing, advocacy work (such as leafletting, tabling, distributing vegan food samples, protesting, letter writing, etc.), vegan potlucks, field trips, and more.
Join us as we watch Carnage, a 108 minute long film directed by Simon Amstell. Set in 2067, the narrator tells how the world is a happier place since veganism has become the norm. Follow the link on this page to the "online event" Zoom meeting at 4:00 pm on Saturday, the 19th of September to watch this movie with us!
Since I don't know when we'll be able to go back to our regular vegan potluck, we're having another virtual vegan potluck. Due to a scheduling conflict, I'm moving the date to the third Monday for the time being.
This month, Henry has volunteered to give us a cooking demo. Thanks, Henry!
Make a dish (or not), grab a snack, and join us to chat. As always, any recipe we share or product we've found must be vegan.
I've missed seeing everyone at the potlucks, and look forward to seeing you again! If you have any questions, feel free to email me at [masked]
Let me know if you're interested in doing a cooking demo in the future. See you on the 21st!
Join us for a casual discussion as we support and inspire one another in an effort to bring balance to our lives as vegans living in a non vegan wold. We will discuss a wide range of topics such as addressing general concerns and questions, sharing experiences, and touching base on local and surrounding areas' vegan friendly events. We look forward to seeing you!
