Great American Wiknic: Annual Wiki-Picnic @ Roosevelt Island

Join local Wikipedians for the "picnic anyone can edit" in Southpoint Park on Roosevelt Island, as part of the Great American Wiknic celebrations being held across the USA.

This year the Wiknic will double as a Strategy Salon, using open space technology to address major questions facing our social movement.

The F train stops on Roosevelt Island, and a tramway connects to 2nd Avenue Manhattan. Note that Southpoint Park is in the southern part of the island, below the tramway and Cornell Tech.

Remember it's a wiki-picnic, which means potluck.
