Pen Y Fan....The Fan Dance

Pen y Fan

Pen y Fan is the tallest mountain in southern Wales and home to the infamous "Fan-Dance", a test for SAS hopefuls. The 24 kilometre route starts from a phone box outside the Storey Arms Outdoor Education Centre. From there we head up to the peak of Corn Du, followed by Pen y Fan. You'll then descend towards Torpantau Station, the final stop of the disused Brecon Mountain Railway. However, this is not the finish. After a quick break, we'll turn around and retrace our steps all the way back to the peak of Pen y Fan, finishing back at the phone box where we started. Special forces recruits are expected to complete this route in under 4 hours. How will you measure up? Package Includes Support from qualified, first-aid trained guides throughout the route Warm-drinks provided at half-way point and finish Go Beat the Bucket t shirt and certificate upon completion Go Beat the Bucket Bespoke Ale Bragging rights! More Information Not sure if you're ready to take on the full Fan Dance? Don't worry, transport will be available at the half-way point to get you back to the start for tea and coffee.

Canoe Yoga and Bushcraft In Sweden

Five healthy and adventurous days of canoeing, yoga, and trekking through the stunning Swedish wilderness. Escape from civilization into the tranquil and undisturbed lakes, rivers and forests of Sweden. You’ll canoe 40km total during the six day trip, spending your mornings trekking through the forest, practicing Yoga and learning about the natural environment. In the evening, you’ll see why Sweden is known as “the land of the Midnight sun”—with tons of daylight, you’ll have ample time to wild swim, fish, and relax around the camp fire. Wild Escape has been designed to help you slow down to the flow of the river and be fully present in the wilderness. Your guides on the trip are fitness, bushcraft, and wilderness experts who will teach you how to survive in the environment, enhance your fitness, center your well being—and hopefully see some resident elk and beavers along the way.
