Peak Fall Foliage (Maine and New Hampshire) Photo Tours and Workshops
Join us on an autumn photo adventure to photograph beautiful Maine and NH. Explore the northern forest during peak fall foliage. We will photograph some of New England's most scenic places. We will be visiting several locations including Rangeley Maine, Northern NH, and the White Mountains.
We will photograph autumn reflections, waterfalls, rivers, great mountain vistas, covered bridges, and many more subjects.
As a resident of New England, John has been photographing and exploring this area for decades. He is a professional photographer who know the area inside out. John will take you to some well-known locations and several secret spots.
When: October 1-5, 2020

Rangeley Lakes (Maine), White Mountain National Forest (NH) and other locations.

Anyone with an interest in photography from beginner to professional photographer who has a love of being outdoors and nature. All skill levels.
Group Size:
Our groups are small. This group size allows for flexibility in our plans if interesting and unexpected photo opportunities present themselves. It will allow us to work with each participate to provide complete, informative, helpful lessons. This also ensures that no questions are unanswered.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Check in to Rangeley hotel then meet at 2pm.
We will have a group introduction then leave to photograph the afternoon light and continue until sunset then a cozy restaurant.
Day 2:
We will photograph the beautiful Rangeley area. There is 6 major lakes plus hundreds of small lakes, ponds, rivers and streams.
Day 3:
Sunrise Rangeley Area. Then we will eat breakfast and photograph our way south to the White Mountains Hotel. Along the way, we will explore the northern forest and its wildlife, rivers, and ponds. We will photograph till sunset.
Day 4:
We will visit multiple areas through the White Mountains. This includes sunrise and sunset.
Day 5:
Sunrise Photoshoot. We will have everyone back before hotel checkout time 11am. This will be the conclusion of the trip.
Result:
We will help you create beautiful images and have fun but also teach skills and techniques you can use to take your photography to the next, higher level! When the weekend is over, attendees will have a solid understanding of nature photography and your camera.
Transportation:
Transportation from hotel to field locations is included.
Lodging:
4 nights lodging is included. You will have you own room.
The first two nights we will be staying at a historic inn. Rangeley is a dynamic village at the center of Maine's outdoor paradise, providing the comforts one would expect of a much larger town, in a serene natural setting.
The next two nights are in the beautiful town of Jackson, It is right in the center of the action but away from the North Conway traffic.

About Us:
John Slonina is a professional nature photographer who has been photographing for over 30 years. John has a love of natural history. During the workshop, you will receive information on photography techniques and the natural world. Understanding nature not only increases your appreciation of it but also helps you become a better nature photographer.
