Coastal Cleanup Day - Mad River Bluffs

Details

The Northcoast Environmental Center is celebrating its 40th anniversary of Coastal Cleanup Day and Wild Nature Heart is adopting Mad River Bluffs Trail as a site cleanup. Join us in the effort to clean up our own backyard and staunch the flow of the estimated millions of tons of garbage in our oceans by participating in California’s Coastal Cleanup Day.

This year the theme is Zero Waste - The global plastics issue is one that can no longer be ignored. We are all consumers on this planet which means we all have an important role to play. Stand together to End Single Use Plastics! We are all consumers on this planet which means we all have an important role to play.

We are asking participants to bring whatever cleanup supplies they already have (gloves, buckets, trash pickers). We are not using single-use plastic gloves. But we will have some up-cycled bags and buckets have been donated from the Northcoast Co-op, California Native Plant Society and Redwood Curtain Brewery., and Reusable gloves that have been donated from Piersons.

We will meet in the small parking lot at the corner of Hiller Rd and Ocean Dr. Contact Ryan@wildnatureheart.com with questions.
