Oak Tree Safari at Ockwells Park and Thrift Wood

Details
Martin Woolner and Trevor Smith, who know a huge amount about the biodiversity of oaks, will have a base camp under one of the many oaks in the park. A rare opportunity to see the wildlife from the microscopic to the more familiar which lives on, in, under and around one of these iconic English trees. A chance for you to use a microscope, discover, collect and learn about wildlife associated with this tree. Win prizes in a quiz and competition.
Please bring binoculars if you have them as well as sturdy footwear and suitable clothing.
The event is free to Wild Maidenhead members who have paid their £5 annual subscription, or £3 for non-members. There is also the chance, on the day, to pay your annual subscription and attend the meeting for free.
