Last month, we discussed Top Travel Destinations for the year. This month, we'll talk about the trends that are impacting travelers now and into the new decade. You may want to know about these trends before booking your next trip.

This is a free event, however, attendees are asked to donate $5 to cover costs and to buy the speaker a drink.

We will be at a new venue - Sister's Gourmet Deli. We are thrilled to get to do a Talk Travel takeover of this venue. That means it is opening just for our group. Sister's menu is panini based and includes vegan and gluten-free options. They also offer a full array of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Sister's Gourmet Deli is on North Williams in the space that was once the British Overseas Restaurant Corp. The new owners have changed it up, and are excited to host our group. Please, plan to buy food and/or drinks at the Sister's Gourmet Deli (

Working with a new venue, it is super important that I have an accurate headcount. Please, only RSVP for this meetup if you plan to attend, and put it on your calendar. If your plans change after signing up - go to and switch your RSVP. Talk Travel events are often super popular and get wait-lists. No showing is tough on other travelers, the speakers, and the venue. Please be considerate and honor your RSVP. We give the venue our final headcount the Friday before the meetup, so need to know who is attending by then.
