Join us on one of the UK’s greatest canoe adventures. An epic 60+ mile journey crossing Scotland and conquering the formidable open waters of Loch Lochy, Loch Oich, Loch Ness and in parts the Caledonian canal. You can message me on here or email [masked] mentioning Meetup for more information or to book. Your journey will start at Fort William (Neptunes Staircase) where you will undertake a two hour induction on the water as well as a chance to familiarise yourself with the equipment and meet the staff that will accompany you throughout your journey. On this five day adventure you will get to see Scotland and it’s wildlife from a wonderful iconic mode of transport (Canadian style open canoe) as well as experiencing the life and ways of a voyager. After each days paddle you will set up camp in wilderness style under the stars, learn essential wilderness bushcraft/ survival skills and enjoy camp talks and fine communal dining. No prior experience is required but we do advise this trip is very intense and requires a number of hours paddling in unpredictable Scottish weather conditions. This trip also requires you to at times portage your canoe as well as five nights of camping. We also strongly recommend staying overnight the day before. I will shortly post a link to our website with more information and where you can book you place. Please be aware your place is only guaranteed with payment and feel free to ask any questions about the trip or what else we have coming up
