Opened in 2004, Santry demesne is approximately 90 acres, broken in 2 parts by the Santry river. The combination of river and land habitats allows for a wide variety of plants. As it’s still quite early in the year we’ll mainly be focusing on trees still. We’ll find out which ones like wet feet and if there are any you should be watching out for spring tapping. Even though it’s still winter some weeds are being weedy and flowering to spite the grey. As always there will be stories and foraging tips, as you learn to identify our wild flora and get in those steps for New Years resolutions.
