What we're about

This is a support group for Parents who have been alienated from their adult children. Many of us live with the heartbreaking pain of estrangement from not only our children but also our beloved grandchildren.

Parental alienation or estrangement by adult children is painful. Often the adult children have children of their own and just as often those dear children are the first casualties of the estrangement of their grandparents. We believe that it is child abuse to keep children from their families. It is abuse to everyone who is alienated.
We will meet once a month at a public place to share our lives, our heartbreaks and even successes. Every attendee should be given equal time to share their story, ask for advice or even give it. One thing that is free and is so valuable is hope.

At first we are likely going to be meeting at different places until we find a permanent home - which will likely be happening sooner than later.

Group setting is private to protect membership.

We, as a group will make this an environment that has purpose, meaning and a place to share without shame.

Never a fee. The only thing you are ever responsible for is things like meeting at a restaurant - paying for your own meal. That sort of thing. There is no membership fee or costs to attend any regular monthly event.

If you care to help organize this support group or can offer even a small financial donation to help keep this page and - hopefully future events in good health - please do. No contribution too small.

This meetup is not affiliated with any other group or organization. It is a stand alone meetup created for people that want to help and support each other. This support group will be what we - the members - make it.
