In conjunction with Microsoft we are having another WinOps usergroup meetup on the evening of the first day of Future Decoded.
Day 1 of Future Decoded finishes at 17:45, the Expo area will be open downstairs. From 18:00, we encourage you all to come upstairs to the Capital Suites where food and drinks will be served. It has been provided by Microsoft so please come up, mix with the community groups and take some time to eat with us.
17:30 – 18:00 – expo open and post event drinks available
18:00 – 19:00 – food and refreshments served for community members attending meetups
The menu provided will be:
• Beef burger with beetroot and horseradish relish
• Cumin roasted vegetable burrito Cajun spiced potato wedges
• Buttered corn on the cob Wine, beer and soft drinks
19:00 – community event starts
Agenda Current state of Data Devops – Simon Sabin
Do you have SQL Databases, Integration Services Packages, Reporting Services Reports, Analysis Services Cubes and more and are looking to integrate them into your DevOps pipeline ? Have you struggled to find the tooling and answers to your questions?
Data devops is evolving and the tooling options growing.
This will be a run through of the options you’ve got for doing devops for your data platform and highlight some of pitfalls that you might come across.

We've formed a group of experts on data devops to discuss data devops and answer questions you might have like:
• Migrations or model how should you deploy the DB?
• Should you test your DB?
• How do you keep backwards compatibility?
• In a NOSQL world how do you apply data fixes?
This is also a park bench so if you’ve got something to contribute you will be free to join the bench.
