The eagles are here and at low tide they are fishing for a run of small Midshipman fish (see photo).
Bring a snack to share and beverage and cameras and we can walk the beach take photos of the amazing show!
The tide will be very low at about this time which is when the most eagles show up.
You will need to RSVP and have messaging set up and I will send you my address. Parking is limited so please try to carpool from Silverdale (or other location) which is only 5 miles away.

The 2nd Annual CIDERHOUSE HIGHLAND GAMES is shaping up to be another great time for participants and spectators! We will feature the traditional Celtic music from 'The Foundlings' from 4-7PM, Food from Ye Olde Pie Wagon, and the main attraction, the Highland Games! Join us for the 2nd Annual CIDERHOUSE HIGHLAND GAMES!
Early Registration Open until May 15 $40/team.
Late Registration May 16- June 3 $50/team
Free to watch, but we are currently recruiting teams of 2! Signup your team via Eventbrite link.
1.) What are the team sizes?
Two people per team.
2.) Are there different rules for boys/girls? Can you have a boy/girl on the same team?
yes. There will be different sized caber, sheath, stone and keg, but the team can be co-ed.
3.) What is the deal with the entry fee?
The entry fee is $40/team. Entry is via Eventbrite or at the tasting room. There will be a limit on the number of teams allowed. Competitors will get a small goodie bag included with entry.
4.) What is the Prizes?
There will be a cash prize, swag and also gift certificates from various local businesses to the winning team. We will publicize the exact prize, but we expect another great turnout... The bigger the event, the bigger the prize for the winners!
5.) Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes, to participate we will have everyone sign waivers of liability. It is your responsibility to ensure you are in the right physical condition and only you know your limits.
6.) Is it free to watch?
Yes, it is free for spectators. There will be a roped off area for your safety to ensure you are not in harm's way.
7.) How do I sign up?
Go to the Evebtbrite link below, or sign up at the tasting room during normal business hours. Do not buy 3rd party... scammers are out there!
8.) I'm all signed up... what now?
Plan on arriving by 11:30AM on June4th the day of the event for sign in. Think of your team name, and possibly an outfit that sets you and your partner apart (not required). This is just for fun and prizes, so don't stress out about it. More details to follow.
9.) Is this a sanctioned event?
No... this is for fun.... maybe one day, but this day is all about fun, food, fellowship and cider!
10.) I'm on the fence about signing up... what should I do?
Sign up! It will be fun! No judgement and it's a great activity with fun people...why not get a little out of your comfort zone?
After a hiatus of three years years, NO QUARTER is back at The Admiral Theatre! This is a “Celebration Day” for all die-hard fanatics. If you are a heavy, hard rocker, and/or “Led Head,” this is your show!
Please note, seating will be balcony only; the main floor tables will be removed so that all the mosh pit groupies can jam together in front of the stage! At only $18 for general admission, this show will most likely sell out. Let me know if you want to sit up in the balcony with a toast, or join the party at "front row center"!
