Curious about the metaverse? We've gathered a panel of people to share their thoughts on what the metaverse is, could be, should be, and what that means for all of us. In case it gets complicated, we'll also do a Q&A!

As we're still being cautious about in-person events, this meetup is being held virtually on AltspaceVR and is open to all who want to join in VR (Vive, Oculus or Windows Mixed Reality) or through their computers using AltspaceVR's Desktop Mode.
How to attend the event
We're hosting this event virtually through AltspaceVR - a platform for live virtual events. You can join using your VR headset or using your computer through their 2D interface.
New to AltspaceVR?
Visit https://altvr.com/ to download the app and set up your account. There are separate downloads for Vive, Rift/Quest, and Windows Mixed Reality headsets as well as a 2D/Desktop version for Mac and Windows.
Entering the event
- Launch AltspaceVR using your VR headset or in Desktop mode
- Click the ‘Enter Code’ button found on the menu that appears
- Type in the following event code: OAO876
- Once the code is entered, you’ll be taken directly to the event space
Alternatively, if you have RSVP'd and starred the event on your AltspaceVR account, you can enter the event space by going to the ‘My Events’ tab of the main menu. The event will show up as ‘Alternate Reality Club - Meetup #15’.
