Winnipeg Casual Chess and Tournament Listing

The group will list all open opportunities to play chess in Winnipeg, both casual meetups in public places and open tournaments.

Events posted will be for established chess meetups where there is a reliable facilitator with equipment present. Keep in mind these will have different organizers which will be noted in the event description.

As of end of 2025, the Saturday afternoon casual meetup noon-4pm at the 2nd floor tables of the Forks Market is the most active. This is in a free public space. Occasional updates on the Rudolf Rocker Chess Club FB group.
