Wisconsin Acespace (in collaboration with Madison Acespace) is a place for asexuals, ace-spectrum, and questioning individuals to form community and find safe space. Asexuality is defined as the lack of sexual attraction to anyone, or low or absent interest in or desire for sexual activity.
We meet monthly in Madison on the 3rd Saturdays for support at the OutReach LGBT Center, with around 6-12 people at each meetup. If you have any questions or concerns please message or email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Madison Acespace is dedicated to providing members a safe space for support and to take joy in their asexual and aromantic-spectrum or questioning identities.
• Be aware of whose identities, experiences, and cultures are represented among the attendees and whose are not represented.
• Give consideration for the space you are taking up, including how to yield to others.
• Be mindful of sharing and respecting identities and boundaries. The content of what is said in the meetup stays in the meetup. Please give warnings for explicit or traumatic experiences.
• Keep in mind everyone is learning, and as a group we are always looking for ways to improve.
These guidelines applies to all Madison Acespace spaces, both online and off.
We welcome everyone of diverse sexual and romantic orientations, gender identities and expressions, physical appearance, body sizes, ages, races, religions, pizza preferences, nationalities, cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, experiences, and abilities.
