From beginning runners to marathoners, this group is for all. We support each other's running, fitness, and wellness goals. In addition to road runs, trail and track, we meet for outdoor yoga for runners and cross training, recovery clinics, focus on good running form, injury prevention, nutrition, and a natural self care. And most of all, we have fun and celebrate each other and our accomplishments, whether it's completing a race, a fitness milestone, achieving a desired weight, or getting healthier physically or emotionally. Our goal is to create a challenging but fun, positive and uplifting experience, each time we meet, and develop friendships that inspire, motivate, and help us grow.
March 24 is the date! The iconic Los Angeles Marathon is not be missed! Let's run this great course from the Dodgers Stadium to the Santa Monica Pier, along with over 25,000 runners! For someone who has not yet ran a full marathon, the ideal time to train for the 26.2 race is about 5 to 6 months. This time allows for a gradual increase of the weekly mileage and get into a perfect shape by March 24. Take it from the Wise Women! ;) Alternatively, you can register for the relay and split the course with your running buddy.
