Sunset Paddle at Banks Lake

Details

Let's paddle scenic Banks Lake on Tuesday night as the setting sun enhances its beauty. We will launch promptly by 7 p.m. and leisurely paddle approximately 4 miles around the lake, looking for alligators, bats & birds.
For everyone's safety bring a light for your boat or to put on yourself, such as a glow stick, so that we will be visible to other boats. Everyone must wear a PFD. Mosquitoes can be bad at the launch, especially after dark, but are usually not a problem on the water. Bring bug spray and water to drink, it will be very warm. Sunset is 7:46.
This event is free for WWALS members and $10 for non-members. We recommend you support the work of WWALS by becoming a WWALS member today! Visit http://wwals.net to become a member.
****Check back for updates before you leave home, just in case Hurricane Florence changes our plans.
