Withlacoochee River Paddle, Troupville to Spook Bridge

Due to rain, this outing was postponed for Sunday, 2/3/19.
A long and rarely paddled 11 mile stretch on the scenic Withlacoochee River. We will paddle the confluence with the Little River, pass some creeks, some shoals, and have a bonus view of old Spook Bridge near the take out. Don't forget your PFD, the river is flowing fast.
Plan to arrive early enough so we can begin our shuttle to the take out at 9:30 a.m.

Take Out: Just downstream from Spook Bridge on the Lowndes County riverbank, thanks to The Langdale Company.

Bring: a rope, in case we need to drag boats over shoals. Plus the usual personal flotation device, boat paddles, food, drinking water, warm clothes, and first aid kit. Also trash pickers and trash bags: every WWALS outing is also a cleanup.

This outing is free to WWALS members, and $10 for non-members. We recommend you support the work of WWALS by becoming a WWALS member today! http://www.wwals.net/donations/
