Bike and Paddle Suwannee River

Details
This outing eliminates putting people at COVID-19 risk by removing the need to shuttle. We will be able to maintain social distancing while paddling and biking.
Meet us at Hal W. Adams Bridge Boat Ramp to unload boats and gear. We will shuttle vehicles and bicycles to the takeout at Hardenbergh Public Boat Ramp (30.090833, -83.111833). We will bike the paved trail back to the boat ramp, about a 30 minute ride. Bring a lock to secure your bike. From here we will paddle to Telford Springs to swim and cool off. We will paddle on to Peacock Slough River Camp for a break before continuing on, passing by the historic Drew Bridge and on to our takeout at Hardenbergh Ramp.
You can camp overnight at the river camp but call ahead to make your reservations with Suwannee River Wilderness Trail Headquarters at 800-868-9914.
Free: This outing is free to WWALS members, and $10 for non-members. We recommend you support the work of WWALS by becoming a WWALS member today!
