10th Annual BIG Little River Paddle Race

Overall winner will get a $100 cash prize. If first place finisher beats previous best time, an additional $200 prize is awarded. Also winners in each category will receive a special award.

The State Park also has a $5 park fee per vehicle.
Bring your own boat. Canoes or kayaks only: NO motors, rowboats, or paddle boards allowed. Canoe or kayak advance reservation online ($10) is available for pick up at Red Roberts Landing.
Gather at 8:00 a.m., Red Roberts Landing, 4727 Rountree Bridge Rd., Adel, GA 31620. The boat ramp is south of the road on the east side of the Little River. COVID-19: Distancing required at start and finish.
Shuttle: No arranged shuttle. Participants can arrange their own shuttle or paddle back to the put in.
Race starts at 9:00 AM, but be there by 8AM to register. The course is a scenic three-mile, all downstream Little River stretch with winding, flat blackwater and some trees to go around. The Finish Line is at Reed Bingham State Park West Boat Ramp, on the west side of the lake.
Awards will be given at 11:30 a.m. at Reed Bingham S.P. West Boat
Ramp. Lunch provided at the finish. Event will be held rain or shine, but will be delayed or cancelled for severe weather or unsafe conditions. No refunds in case of cancellation.
Life jackets are required (must supply your own).
Children under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult, be at least 12 years old, and know how to swim.

Racing not required and many do a leisurely paddle. Race is a fundraiser for WWALS Watershed Coalition and Friends of Reed Bingham State Park.
