In Machine Learning, data preprocessing is a crucial when it comes to the success of the final model.
In this workshop, we will build a full-cycle ML service, while dedicating most of our time and effort towards Data Engineering. We’ll review tools for processing data (Apache Spark, Apache Beam), we’ll try to understand main concepts in “Big Data” and cover basic data mining algorithms, including use cases. We will also learn how to build data pipelines for Data Science: batch processing for preparing training data and stream processing for serving real-time requests.
Neural Networks basics will be covered as well, training our own model (with Tensorflow) and combining it all together to get self-updatable service.
We will use Google Dataflow & ML Engine to decrease time on devops.
By the end of the workshop you should be ready to pitch your first AI-startup.
This is a full day workshop from 9:30 - 17:00.

At Wix I’m helping Data Scientists to publish their machine learning models to production. I’m responsible for engineering part of ML: pre/post-processing pipelines, speed & efficiency, devops & monitoring. In meantime I’m developing Continuous Delivery Framework for DS with optimistic hope to automate all this processes someday.
Prior to Wix I was serving as Data Engineer in several US-based AI-focused startups (People.ai, Unified Social, HealthJoy) helping to build sophisticated analytics systems for different domain models

I`m a data scientist with over 6 years of experience in Data Science and Machine Learning, applied over a range of industries including e-commerce, fintech, telecom, internet and gaming. My mission is to show how Data Science is done in the real world and help build smarter companies which make better decisions.
